Cargill Animal Nutrition recalled a limited number of Nutrena Nature-Wise Goat Pellets due to an error in labeling, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Rockville, Md. -- Two lots of livestock and poultry feed that were distributed in Nebraska and Wyoming have been recalled after an unspecified number of horses died from exposure to high monensin sodium levels.

Madison, N.J. -- Pfizer Animal Health is voluntarily recalling one lot each of Antisedan® (atipamezole hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution and Dexdomitor® (dexmedetomidine hydrochloride) Sterile Injectable Solution after it was discovered that some of these products may contain foreign particles.

Rockville, Md. -- Merrick Pet Care of Amarillo, Texas, is recalling a single lot of its Doggie Wishbone pet treat (ITEM No. 29050, UPC No. 2280829050, Lot 11031, Best By 30 Jan 2013) due to possible Salmonella contamination.

Wichita, Kan. -- Cargill Value Added Meats Retail is voluntarily recalling about 36 million pounds of fresh and frozen ground turkey in response to an outbreak of Salmonella Heidelberg that has infected at least 77 people in 26 states.
