Deb Greco, DVM, PhD, DACVIM: I'm the world's most impatient endocrinologist, right? So for me, this is like the perfect tool. And so, I was really excited to get this machine. It's the TRUFORMA machine, and what it does is it requires just a very small amount of blood. I'll tell the client, "We're going to borrow Fido or Tootsie or whoever; we're going to get a little blood sample, just a tiny amount of blood, and we're going to put it in the machine and about 20 minutes, we're going to have an answer." I don't have to send it out to the laboratory. It's probably going to be less expensive for you, as well... and then I can provide the medication on their way out.
