Joya Griffin, DVM, DACVD: I think you can treat the skin from the inside out with your good, rich diets that are rich in fatty acids. There's a lot of great ones out there, and then you can also supplement it topically. So, you're treating from the outside in. I like that dual approach.

Dermoscent has been a product line, with the Essential-6 spot ons and their mousse and shampoo. I love this one; I think this is really great. I put it in my treatment plan for all of my sebacious adenitis cases. I really love it for that because it's going to help restore those essential oils and the fatty acids [and] it's easy to use. Sebacious adenitis is a very labor-intensive disease we're treating from the inside out with systemics as well as topicals.
