  • The FDA announced this week that pregabalin chewable tablets (Liavium-CA1; TriviumVet) was conditionally approved for managing pain and clinical signs associated with Chiari-like malformation and syringomyelia in dogs.
  • In other FDA news, Hill’s Pet Food and Bond Pet Foods received a Letter of No Objection from the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine for its Lamb Protein Yeast ingredient following a completed 6-month longitudinal feeding study in canines.
