When sending a pet owner home with a supplement, pheromone, or medication in hopes of minimizing their cat’s aggression, Dr. Radosta says she is very clear about the level of change the pet owner may recognize. She adds that it’s also important to let pet owners know that the first treatment may not be the one that works, because treating behavioral issues is not as clear cut as treating infections.
