Matthew Brunke, DVM, DACVSMR, CCRP, CVPP, CVA: Chronic pain is harder [to identify]...what I'm starting to look for in those is, you know, is there, at that point there should be some atrophy of muscle. So if we use our hands like calipers, can we start to understand there's less muscle in one thigh than the other, if it's a back leg issue.
