  • The FDA announced this week that it issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for generic Nitenpyram Tablets for treating myiasis caused by New World screwworm in dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, that are at least 4 weeks old and 2 pounds, making this the first generic animal drug to receive EUA for use against NWS.
