The approval opens up two new channels for PurinaCare Insurance Services. It's estimated that Washington is home to some 3.5 million dogs and cats, while Alaska has 175,000 dogs and 195,000 cats.
"People love their pets like a member of the family. We believe no pet owner should have to choose between cost and well-being of their dog or cat," says David Goodnight, DVM, president and COO of PurinaCare Insurance Services.
