The Andis Company introduces a quiet pivot motor horse clipper. The Andis PM-1 horse clipper cuts through matted and wet hair and has four times the power in the motor than regular clippers the company says.
The power is applied in both directions of the cutting stroke, causing stronger blade action. The pivot motor is maintenance free and lasts for many years, the company adds. There are few moving parts to wear out and never needs internal oiling or power screw adjustment for changes in line voltage.
