Dr. Lori Hess worked for months to create a veterinary hospital tailored specifically for exotic animals. Here's a peek at the result.

Despite the minor hiccups, the Veterinary Center for Birds and Exotics has experienced tremendous success, due in part to team members’ understanding and love of exotics. “All of the people who work here have had exotics as pets and are interested in them,” Dr. Hess says.
