Kristi has been in the veterinary industry for over 20 years. She began her career as a customer service representative (CSR), where she developed a passion for veterinary medicine. She went on to become a CVT a few years later. With a strong passion for the veterinary reception role, she covered the front desk any chance she could, even while working with the medical team full-time. Kristi's veterinary career has involved working in general practices, ER, Specialty Hospitals, and even Relationship Coordinator roles. Before joining IGNITE, she was the lead ER technician at a specialty and emergency hospital. Currently, at IGNITE, she is the director of Product Development and co-author of the Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence Program. Kristi lives outside of Chicago with her high-school sweetheart husband and three daughters (another baby on the way), two pitbull mixes, and two cats. You can find her at on the lake with her family, catching a Chicago sports game, or at the gym in her free time.
