- A North Carolina pug named Winston, is believed to be the first dog in the U.S. to test positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
- About a month ago we reported that Nadia, a four-year-old tiger at the Bronx Zoo tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The Wildlife Conservation Society recently reported that six additional symptomatic tigers and lions at the zoo have tested positive for the virus, as did an asymptomatic tiger.
