Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging unveils the upgraded standing equine MRI scanner after consultations with veterinarians on product enhancements.
New scan protocols, such as HS2 Fast Fat Suppression (FFS) have been integrated with the new Automated Movement Tracking System (AMTS).
The AMTS tracks motion of the limb in real time and modifies the image acquisition to maintain slice positioning. Imaging of the carpus and fetlock becomes routine, the company says. Without the need for operator intervention, it simplifies scanning techniques and provides consistent levels of image quality.
