PASADENA, CALIF. — Animal Planet is gearing up for a spring 2007 debut of E-Vets Interns, a spinoff the station's second-highest rated hit Emergency Vets.
Animal Planet says "ahh" to E-Vets Interns. The show debuts next spring with Emergency Vets faithfuls, including Kevin Fitzgerald of Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver.
Veteran veterinarian celebs Drs. Robert Taylor, Holly Knor and Kevin Fitzgerald of Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver will guide six interns fresh out of veterinary school, including Blair Willman, David Gall, Eric Anderson, Heather Hadley, Kevin Drygas, Shana O'Mara and Michelle Nanfelt.
"One of the most extraordinary aspects of The E-Vets Interns is how the show conveys the dedication of the vets at Alameda East to their patients," says Maureen Smith, executive vice president and general manager of Animal Planet. "These interns are so lucky to be mentored by three remarkable vets. With only 27 veterinary schools in the country, it is a very competitive field, and animal lovers everywhere are fortunate to have such bright individuals as future vets."
High Noon is producing The E-Vets Interns program. Animal Planet is available in 88 million homes nationwide through Discovery Networks, U.S.
