Audio: Use direct withdrawals for clients who can't pay in full

Article

Are your clients having trouble paying their bills at the time of service? Try this method to automatically space out payments.

Sometimes clients need a little time to pay for the services your practice provides. But how can you make sure they follow through in a timely manner? Follow this tip from veterinary practice manager Brian Conrad, CVPM, who says e-payments might be the answer.

Want more from Conrad? Check out the Managers' Retreat, "Real Solutions for Real Managers," at CVC Kansas City, Aug. 26. During this session, Conrad will show you tactics he uses every day in his own role as the manager of a successful veterinary hospital. You'll learn how to:

> Identify signs of progress and regression in your practice

> Create solutions and implement positive changes

> Identify strengths and weaknesses on your team

> Use team-building exercises in staff meetings

> Tell the difference between emotional change and factual change

> Create an environment in which employees are open to frequent changes

> Understand the difference between mentorship and friendship

Sign up by July 21 to receive the discounted rate of $241 ($316 after July 21). You'll also receive a special package rate when you register for the Managers' Retreat and one or more days of CVC.
