AASV foundation creates memorial fund

PERRY, IOWA — The American Association of Swine Veterinarians Foundation establishes the Alex Hogg Memorial Fund with a $50,000 bequest from the namesake's estate.

The fund recognizes five decades of Dr. Hogg's contributions to the swine industry. It will support the newly established Alex Hogg Memorial Lecture during the association's annual meeting, and a scholarship program for practitioners who pursue an advanced degree.
