In an interview at the 2023 Fetch dvm360 Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, faculty member Andrew Rosenberg, DVM, DACVD, president elect of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, explained how to identify which medication will best treat the presented ear disease in a patient by first using the PSPP system. Andrew Rosenberg, DVM, DACVD: So a practitioner really needs to first identify all of those primary and secondary causes and then identify the perpetuating and predisposing factors to really make a decision on what the best systemic and topical treatments are going to be.
