Veterinarians want more dog bite prevention training
Study suggests veterinary schools don?t provide enough education on avoidance techniques.
A recent study, funded by the Morris Animal Foundation, found that veterinarians and human physicians want more education when it comes to dog bite prevention training. Only 21 percent of veterinarians and 5 percent of physicians reported that the majority of their knowledge on dog bite prevention came from veterinary or medical school. And the majority of surveyed said they'd like more information to be included in school curriculums.
