Christopher Pachel, DVM, DACVB, CABC: We hear our clients talking all the time, truthfully about just how meaningful those relationships [with their companion animals] are, whether that's as an emotional confidant, or as someone who shares that space with them at home. [This is true] especially for clients, perhaps who live alone, or may be a bit more isolated from family or friends still at this point ongoing during the pandemic.
