Trividia Health, Inc, a leading developer and manufacturer of products for people with diabetes, has announced that it is expanding its portfolio to include products designed for pets. Set to launch during National Pet Diabetes Month in November, the company’s first offering is the Test Buddy Pet-Monitoring Blood Glucose System, developed with specific chemistry and a unique algorithm for dogs and cats with diabetes.

The affordably priced Test Buddy comes with 50 test strips plus a Healthy Tracks for Pets Lancing Device and lancets for easy at-home glucose monitoring. The meter has Bluetooth capability that allows clients to upload their pet’s results into the Test Buddy App, track their pet’s glucose health, and share results and trending information with their veterinarian.

Trividia Health will be the first manufacturer to provide these types of pet products to retail pharmacies throughout the United States. “It is our goal and strategic focus to provide quality products and affordable diabetes care for all, including our pets,” says Scott Verner, president and CEO of Trividia Health, in a press release announcing the launch.

The company will follow up its initial launch with the Healthy Tracks for Pets line of ancillary products designed specifically for dogs and cats living with diabetes, including U-40 and U-100 insulin syringes in a variety of gauges and sizes. Trividia Health plans to further expand its pet health portfolio in the coming months. For information, visit www.testbuddymeter.com or www.healthy-tracks.com.
