Dr. Lori Hess built her dream hospital and documented the process. Here's a look at the construction of her exotic hospital from start to finish.

The construction process got off to a bad start. Denied by one bank that wouldn’t lend to an exotic practice, Dr. Hess secured financing from another lender. She then found out that the contractor’s license had expired and was forced to choose a new one.
