The team at Countryside Veterinary Clinic in Carthage, N.Y., knows how to captivate their audience. Countryside entertains clients in the reception area with a slide show computer screen saver. The slide show features photos of patients, some posing with their adult or child owners.

Kathy Clement, a customer care specialist, says clients especially enjoy the slide show when they see their own pets on screen. "But it can be painful for clients to see a photo of their deceased pet, so we try to be considerate of our clients and update the slide show often," she says.
