Pet food maker to sponsor pet adoptions Jan. 24

The first 10 adoptions at participating shelters that day are free.

Pet adoptions will get off to a cheap start Saturday, Jan. 24, on Change a Pet's Life Day. Hill's Pet Nutrition is paying the fees for the first 10 adoptions at each of more than 300 participating animal shelters. The pet food maker is also providing the new pet owners with free Science Diet food, an informational pet training DVD, and a toll-free number to call with questions.
