Merial alerts veterinarians to incorrect dosage in Plumb's
Duluth, Ga. -- Merial issued a statement to clarify the correct dosage of Equioxx in the 6th edition of Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook.

-- Merial issued a statement to clarify the correct dosage of Equioxx in the 6th edition of Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook.
The misprint, on p. 519, regarding the labeled dosage for EQUIOXX® (firocoxib) for horses should be 0.1 mg/kg (0.045 mg/lb) not 0.45 mg/lb. For more information, call (888) MERIAL-1, option 3.
