Indianapolis - 3/4/08 - Indiana Lawmakers are moving to modernize the state's Veterinary Practice Act by amending language not touched in at least 30 years.
The legislative update, which awaits the state Senate's final approval before going to the Governor, seeks to alter the definitions of patient, indirect and direct supervision and registered veterinary technician, to name a few.
