Idea Exchange: Flea combs clear out the mess around the eyes

To remove the material that accumulates around the medial canthus, use a flea comb. For tenacious material, moisten the area with an ophthalmic lubricant for a few minutes before combing it out. This flea comb method is also an easy way for pet owners to clean the area on their pets at home.
