Pamelar Hale, DVM, MBA, and Ryan Hart return to The Vet Blast Podcast to provide advice to new graduates on making a great first impression in their interviews and observations. The pair provide tips, tricks, advice, and strategies to help land a job at the interviewee's clinic of choice.

Below is a partial transcript. Listen to the full podcast for more.

Pamelar Hale, DVM, MBA: So if you're there for a working interview, [which] you want to determine beforehand, what you will be doing at a lot of hospitals is just an observation. And they'll be talking to you potentially about cases that they're working on that day, because they want to see your thought process as a veterinarian. How do you work through your case? How do you make recommendations to clients?

Now you also want to know if it's more than just observation. Are you going to be putting your hands on pets? And you just want to know that so that you're prepared to be a little bit more interactive with their cases as well.
