The soft tissue surgeons at the University of Georgia offer a unique continuing education opportunity for practitioners wishing to expand their abilities in feline surgery. We will focus on abdominal, urogenital, middle ear, and reconstructive surgeries commonly performed in cats. The first day will focus on abdominal surgeries and include gastrointestinal surgery, cystotomy, and subtotal colectomy. The second day will tackle more advanced procedures including ventral bulla osteotomy, perineal urethrostomy, and body wall excision for soft tissue sarcoma.
