For Harris Fitzgerel, DVM, the COVID-19 pandemic presented many challenges. Most importantly, how can a veterinary student receive the necessary hands-on experience when precautionary measures are designed to limit in-person contact?

Fitzgerel said, "No one could really understand the specifics of what we were going through, because this is all a novel thing, so I wanted to share my perspective."
