Customized veterinary care for all life stages

Create a list of services for pet life stage kits based on your practice care recommendations, and help clients see where their pet fits in.

Puppies and kittens:

  • Complete physical examination

  • Vaccination—based on the puppy or kitten’s lifestyle, these help protect against a variety of infectious diseases
  • Diagnostic testing:

  • > Fecal tests to check for intestinal parasites

  • > Ear cytology to check for ear infections

  • > Heartworm test for puppies; FeLV/FIV (feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus disease) test for kittens

  • Parasite treatment & prevention

  • Deworming medication, which treats common parasites such as hookworm and roundworm

  • Heartworm/flea/tick preventive for the protection of the new puppy or kitten

Adult pets:

  • Complete physical examination

  • Vaccination based on lifestyle

  • Diagnostic testing:

  • > Fecal tests to check for intestinal parasites

  • > Heartworm test for dogs

  • Health screen (blood screen and urinalysis)—Allows for early detection and prevention of disease, such as anemia, diabetes, kidney disease and bladder infection.

  • Dental care—Healthy mouths protect against numerous diseases; your veterinarian may recommend annual or semi-annual cleanings

  • Other services ...

  • Blood pressure monitoring

  • Chest radiographs—For the visualization of the organs of the chest. Heart and lung disorders are common pet diseases that may occur at any life stage.

  • Electrocardiograms—Abnormal heart beats (arrhythmias) and some heart disease can be detected.

Senior pets:

  • Complete physical examination

  • Vaccination based on lifestyle

  • Diagnostic testing:

  • > Fecal tests to check for intestinal parasites

  • > Senior health screen (blood screen & urinalysis)—Allows for detection and prevention of common problems of pets that are 7 and older, such as anemia, infection, diabetes, kidney, liver, endocrine and bladder diseases.

  • > Eye pressure check: tests for glaucoma or uveitis

  • > Ear cytology to check for ear infections

  • Parasite prevention—Deworming according to clinic protocol

  • Other services ...

  • Any additional servces listed under the Adult pets list

  • Arthritis screening
