Cornell will use gift for new fellowship program

Plainfield has investments in several horse-racing facilities.
Cornell will use the gift to support a new clinical fellowship, which was awarded in its first-year to Dr. Sophy Jesty. The two-year Clinical Fellows Program addresses the shortage of academic veterinarians conducting animal disease research and costs $220,000 per student, according to the college.
