Try again. The decrease in her ALP activity is minimal and her bilirubin concentration is still elevated. While it may be too soon to expect everything to have normalized, more marked reduction in the bilirubin concentration is expected in cases of primary hepatic lipidosis. An underlying problem should still be suspected, and further workup is indicated.
