Butler Schein adds software companies to portfolio
Melville, N.Y. -- Butler Schein Animal Health announced Feb. 18 that it has acquired majority ownership in McAllister Software Systems and ImproMed.

-- Butler Schein Animal Health announced Feb. 18 that it has acquired majority ownership in McAllister Software Systems and ImproMed.
McAllister is the creator of the AVImark practice management system and ImproMed is the creator of Infinity practice management software. Both companies now will operate as subsidiaries of Butler Schein, and each will maintain their existing headquarters, according to Butler Schein.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
