AVMA Survey Found New Veterinary Students Interested in Shelter Medicine

A recent survey by the AVMA asked the entering class of veterinary students what their biggest interests were going into veterinary school. The survey found that while general practice was first, shelter medicine was the second biggest interest among new veterinary students—tied with equine medicine.
