A Practice Owner's Experience With Fear Free

Julie Reck, DVM, founder and owner of the Veterinary Medical Center of Fort Mill, South Carolina, talks about her journey with Fear Free.

Back in 2016, Dr. Reck started looking into Fear Free and thought it would be a great activity for her veterinary practice to help her team members get on the same page with animal handling. Her 18 employees went through the certification course, gaining strength and confidence in animal handling, but also gaining a new perception of their jobs. Dr. Reck says the tone of the back at her veterinary practice turned in a positive direction, with her employees growing and learning together.
