VPI selects vice president

BREA, CALIF. — Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) named Carol McConnell, DVM, MBA, vice president of underwriting and chief veterinary medical officer. In her new role, McConnell will oversee medical-related decisions at the company, including implementation of VPI's underwriting guidelines and rules. She will direct the product-development department and act as VPI's primary representative to the veterinary community.
