Fort Worth-based Virbac Animal Health (Virbac) has added a training segment to its "Virbac University" website that focuses on conforming to medical regulations.

According to a company release, the company's virbacuniversity.com site now offers a “Developing Medical Compliance” course that centers on setting systems in place to get practices up-to-speed and in line with regulatory expectations.

The continuing education course uses an interactive training module to help veterinary practice mangers develop practical programs that will help them to identify areas in need of improvement, track the improvements being made, and establish goals that will allow a shift in practice philosophy that focuses on improving medical compliance.

Virbac University is an online, continuing education program approved through AAVSB RACE for both veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Throughout the year new courses are added and are available in several specialty areas: Dental Health (C.E.T. University), Dermatology (Derm U), Heartworm Prevention and Canine Hypothyroidism and now Hospital Management. There is no charge for courses offered through the site.
