Toronto welcomes membership-based veterinary hospital
Juno Veterinary debuts first membership-based practice in the Summerhill neighborhood
Juno Veterinary—a design-forward and tech-enabled pet health company—unveiled its first location in the Summerhill neighborhood in Toronto, Canada, making it the only membership-only practice in the city.
"We exist to make veterinary care something everyone can look forward to. Our renewed vet clinic model empowers our care team vets to provide compassionate care in an environment that feels more like a living room than a lab," said Cassandra Vlahaki, DVM, co-founder and chief veterinarian at Juno Veterinary.
"We want to bring joy back to the profession and set a new benchmark of care," she added.1
According to the release,1 this design concept will eliminate long wait times while helping fight burnout and veterinary shortages within the industry. The membership will cost $149 annually and offers same or next day urgent care appointments, and 24/7 telemedicine services year-round from the practice's virtual care team.
Some other benefits include quality time with the veterinary staff and transparent pricing. The clinic also provides routine checkups, wellness preventative and dental care, urgent care, and surgery.
At this time, Juno Veterinary is not accepting any clients that are not members and has plans to expand into the King West Neighborhood in the new year, with other openings planned in 2023.
