The association awarded 23 veterinary practice management professionals with their Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation.
The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) recently announced that 23 veterinary management professionals from the November class of 2020 earned their Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation. CVPM is a voluntary credential awarded to individuals who display the knowledge and experience needed to successfully manage the ever-changing veterinary practice.
To apply for the CVPM exam, participants must meet practice management experience requirements. They must also demonstrate that they've earned a sufficient, formal education and are continuously earning education credits, according to a VHMA
The CVPM exam is extensive and tests practice management knowledge in 5 different areas:
- Law and ethics
- Human resources
- Finance
- Organization skills at the practice
- Marketing
This rigorous exam is offered electronically to registered candidates throughout North America.
The CVPM credential is nationally accredited and esteemed by other practice leaders in veterinary medicine.
