Ellman International, Inc. introduces the Surgitron Dual FrequencyTM 120, a radiowave surgical device
Ellman International, Inc. introduces the Surgitron Dual FrequencyTM 120, a radiowave surgical device for use in veterinary practices. High frequency/low temperature technology enhances all surgical procedures including microscopic, minimally invasive and endoscopic/laparoscopic in the veterinary field. The unit emits radiowave energy at a 4.0MHz frequency, providing maximum control of absorption depth in tissue, resulting in minimal cellular alteration and heat spread. Tissue interaction is specific and delicate enabling reduced blood loss, healing without edema and a rapid recovery, the company says. With the elimination of the fiddle-factor, the Surgitron 120 has integrated fingerswitch handpiece, audible sound and bipolar interfacing, the company says. The portable size and user-friendly operation of the Surgitron 120 as well as the ergonomic accessories permit ease of use in any environment without additional staffing requirements. An assortment of innovative electrode systems are available for general and procedure specific applications.
