- Dechra announced earlier today that it has received approval from the FDA for its pergolide tablets (Zygolide; Dechra) to treat equine patients suffering from pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction, also known as Equine Cushing’s Disease.

- A recent article published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association took a deeper dive into getting a better understanding of radiation safety in veterinary imaging. The lead author, a technician from UC Davis, and her fellow researchers examined decades of published literature on occupational radiation exposure during PET/CT imaging with the radiotracer 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose in positive emission tomography scans.
