Sergeant's initiates return-exchange on fipronil-methoprene veterinary flea and tick products citing patent problems

Sergeant's Pet Products is offering a voluntary return-and-exchange on its fipronil-methoprene products because they infringe on Merial's patents, the company reports.
In a prepared statement, Sergeant's Pet Products says the return-and-exchange will be honored on products sold as FIPROGUARD™ Plus, Pronyl OTC™ Plus, EctoAdvance™, Spectra Sure™ and Prefurred™.
