Practical Equine Ophthalmology

This course will equip delegates with the skills needed to diagnose and manage commonly encountered equine eye disorders. Emphasis will be on the practical use of widely available diagnostic tools to perform clinical assessments of the equine eye and to recognize common conditions. Appropriate treatment strategies for such conditions will be presented. The course is aimed at general practitioners, including large animal ambulatory veterinarians, who wish to refresh their ophthalmic examination skills. A didactic session of morning presentations will be followed by an afternoon lab to offer participants the opportunity for hands-on application of clinical techniques. The lab session is limited to 32 participants, so please register early.
