Twelve veterinary schools nationwide are the recipients of more than$350,570 in grant money from the Merck-Merial Animal Health Grants Program.
Schools receiving the grants are: Cornell University, Auburn University,University of Georgia, Louisiana State University, Iowa State University,Mississippi State University, The Ohio State University, Michigan StateUniversity, Oklahoma State University, University of Pennsylvania, OregonState University and Purdue University.
The grants support summer programs designed to enhance students' experiencein biomedical research, as well as specific veterinary school programs.
