Innovative products for rehabilitation and pain management

At the Fetch dvm360® conference in San Diego, Matthew Brunke, DVM, DACVSMR, CCRP, CVPP, CVA, described some breakthrough products in the veterinary pain management and rehabilitation space that can accelerate at-home patient care.

Matthew Brunke, DVM, DACVSMR, CCRP, CVPP, CVA: Some of [the innovations] are so straightforward and simple, like the Multi Radiance lasers that we can send at home. Anything we can do to improve the home environment for those pets helps out a ton. So I'm really excited about things like the new pulsed electromagnetic field beds that are out there that [allow] pets [to be treated] at home by their pet parents. And also now there's actually dog beds that have research that show that dogs that have arthritis will sleep better if they [sleep] on [a] specific dog bed.
