Funding for physical and emotional well-being

Article

An angel fund helps one practice ensure pets get the care they need.

An angel fund helps our practice ensure that we can take good care of homeless pets and patients in financial need. The fund, fed by client donations and contributions from the practice team, produces both good works and good feelings. A small notice on our clinic wall alerts clientele to the fund and its important purpose. We also donate $25 to the account on every employee's birthday and $100 on the clinic's anniversary. And finally, whenever we have a reason to celebrate, we throw a donation into the angel fund. We've been able to treat and find homes for many homeless dogs and cats, as well as help many families pay for their pets' care by covering a portion of their veterinary bill. It's been very helpful in today's economy, and the patients and clients are always so thankful.
