Frontline gets new label claims from EPA

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently approved new label claims for all Frontline? brand products for Merial. The products will include the additional claims on all labels in the coming months.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently approved new label claims for all Frontline brand products for Merial. The products will include the additional claims on all labels in the coming months. The products with new label claims include Frontline Plus, Frontline Top Spot and Frontline Spray Treatment, which contain fipronil and provide fast, long-lasting control of fleas. Each waterproof dose kills all stages of ticks, including those that may transmit Lyme disease.The new labels on Frontline brand products will include the following claims: Frontline Plus approved for dogs and puppies up to 22 pounds. Frontline Top Spot approved for puppies and kittens 8 weeks and older. Provides fast, effective treatment and control of chewing lice in dogs, puppies, kittens and cats (Frontline Plus, Frontline Top Spot, Frontline Spray). Aids in the control of sarcoptic mange infestations in dogs (Frontline Plus, Frontline Top Spot, Frontline Spray). Can be used on breeding, pregnant and lactating bitches and queens (Frontline Plus, Frontline Top Spot).
