Use the exam room lights to indicate if the room is clean and ready to go.
After an exam, we turn off the lights, close the back door and leave the front door open. If the front door is open and the lights are off, the front staff knows the room is available for use.
If the back door is open and the lights are on, the back staff knows the room needs to be cleaned. It also saves on electric bills.
