Embark Veterinary releases first-ever purebred dog DNA kit

This comprehensive kit employs individualized health insights and information that can ultimately help extend dogs' lives by 3 years within the decade.

Embark Veterinary, Inc.—a global leader in dog genetics—has released its breakthrough DNA Test for Purebred Dogs. According to a company release, Embark discovered that over 50% of tested dogs are either are at risk for—or a carrier of—genetic health complications and more than 1 in 3 dog owners have documented updating their dog's care after receiving test results.
