QUESTION 1
Determining whether your patient is vomiting or regurgitating is the first step in the work up since it will help you build your rule out list and plan your next diagnostic step.
For each clinical sign, choose whether it seems most consistent with vomiting or regurgitation.
a) Food passively falls out of the mouth
b) The act is preceded by salivation or restlessness

c) Bile is noted in the expelled material
d) Undigested food is brought up
e) Active, forceful expulsion is noted
